Troubleshooting Steps

1) Check USB Power Source: Ensure the USB TV port outputs 5V USB power. Alternatively, employ a USB wall charger with a minimum rating of 1 amp.

2) Inspect Remote Battery: Check the condition and charge level of the battery in your remote. Ensure the remote works well with the equipment source when bypassing the IR Extension Cable. 

3) Check Remote Positioning: The remote must be within a 15-foot radius of the IR Receiver. Additionally, the angle between the remote and receiver should not exceed 30°.

4) Check Transmitter Placement: The IR Transmitter should ideally be placed within 5 inches of the equipment source.

5) Compatibility with RF Signals: This product is incompatible with set-top boxes that employ radio frequency (RF) signals.

6) Lighting Conditions: Bright sunlight or compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) light bulbs can potentially cause signal interference.

7) Frequency Compatibility: The IR Receiver is compatible with any device that has a 30-60Khz receiving frequency.

8) Verify Configuration: Refer to the supplied diagram to confirm if the configuration is installed correctly.
