Symptom: The remote control does not work or works sporadically.
The remote control may work sporadically or not at all if the remote battery is dying or dead. Additionally, some switches came packaged with a CR2025 battery, which has been identified as insufficient to power the remote.
To resolve this issue, replace the existing battery with a new CR2032 battery.
Symptom: In environments with multiple switches installed, one remote control changes multiple switches.
If multiple USB switches are used in the same room, a single switch’s remote control may control multiple switches. To resolve this issue, disable the remote control function on switch(es) that display this issue.
For Model 202060
Turn off the remote control by pressing and holding down the #1 and #3 buttons on the Switch for 5 seconds.
For Models 202010 / 201085 / 202070
Turn off the remote control by pressing and holding down the #1 and #2 buttons on the Switch for 5 seconds.
